Terrace House Renovations
Significant progress was made in 2025 as renovations continued at Horizon Village Terrace House, our detox and stabilization facility in Downtown Buffalo. Throughout this transformation, our team has remained committed to providing uninterrupted, lifesaving care while building a space that truly reflects the needs of the individuals we serve.
As we move closer to our projected 2026 completion, construction is bringing to life a more modern, trauma‑informed environment designed to enhance safety, comfort, and person-centered recovery. Upgrades include improved treatment areas, updated amenities, and thoughtfully designed private bedroom spaces that prioritize dignity and privacy. We’re excited to be approaching the final phase of this project and look forward to welcoming patients into a renewed space equipped to deliver high‑quality care.

Putting Green Ribbon Cutting at Horizon Village Campus
In September, we celebrated the grand opening of The Chris Maloney Legacy Foundation Putting Green on our Sanborn Campus. We’re deeply grateful to the Chris Maloney Legacy Foundation for their incredible generosity in bringing this vision to life, and for honoring Chris’s love of golf in such a meaningful way. This exciting new addition enhances our residential campus and reflects our commitment to creating spaces that foster healing, connection, and recovery.

Breaking Records & Stigma
WORLD RECORD BROKEN!
On December 20, 2025, The Revelas Family Foundation and our incredible WNY community came together to break the Guinness World Record title for the Largest Chicken Wing Eating Contest… and THEY DID IT!
Over 900 people gathered at the Buffalo Convention Center for an unforgettable evening that was not only tons of fun, but also a powerful opportunity to raise awareness about mental health and the resources available in our community. All funds raised benefitted Horizon's Teen Mental Health Program.

Fidelis Care Grant
Thank you to Fidelis Care for their generous grant in support of our Community Outreach Campaign for Pregnant and Postpartum Individuals, with a special focus on serving minority and under-resourced communities.
Highmark Blue Fund
Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York presented Horizon with a $250,000 Blue Fund grant, which will support the launch of a new Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program (PIOP) in 2026.
Chris Maloney Legacy Foundation
The Chris Maloney Legacy Foundation provided funds earned from their annual Chris Maloney Legacy Golf Tournament to benefit the creation of a new putting green at our Horizon Village Campus.
Devin Waring Foundation
In 2026, The Devin Waring Foundation will bring Devin's House of Strength – an outdoor wellness facility – to both our Horizon Village Campus in Sanborn and our Terrace House location in Downtown Buffalo.
